Role Models

Growing up in the 80s and 90s, role models were hard to find. You were basically left with Al Bundy and Homer Simpson as the examples of being a man. I personally didn't want to grow up to be like that. I didn't want to grow up to be a joke. So for a long time I didn't want to grow up at all.

I feel like I wasted a lot of time by not pursing a better future earlier. I grew up with peers that basically thought ambition was not normal. Like ambition should be mocked. Like everyone should just sit on the couch, laugh with the laugh tracks and make condescending remarks about everything.

Protein bars can really turn your day around. Try one when you get home from work. You'll want to work out and you'll get more out of it. Most people get home and just want to rest. Adding protein to your diet will get you up and get you active.
