Interview the Job

The best advice I've heard when looking for a job is: interview the job, don't let the job interview you. The company you're applying to is looking for someone of value and your goal while you have the employer's attention is to display qualities that will generate revenue for the company.
Don't be afraid to guide the questions. Ask questions to dig deeper into the position and the company. Ask questions about the culture and see if the employer tries to appeal to you. This is a big indicator that they're interested in you. If a company is trying to appeal to you, you're doing a good job. You have displayed maturity and seriousness about your time at the position and they are starting to picture you at the company.
